Ms. Tata was arrested by US marshals upon her return to the US aboard a Delta airline flight into Atlanta from Lagos. She was booked into the Fulton County jail in Atlanta.
Ms. Tata fled to Nigeria after the she was charged with manslaughter and child abandonment when the daycare center under her care burnt down, ignited by a stove she left on as she shopped for groceries nearby.
